I believe that she felt horrible enough without them spying on her. However, even though Charlotte feels aggravated, I believe that she completely deserved this irony. It was her spying for the captain that started this whole mess. I believe that it's only fair that she should feel what she was doing to the sailors. It is a perfect example of divine comeuppance.
Charlotte felt regret when the people she was spying began spying on her because she knew that it was not the correct thing to do. An example in real life is that people get pressured into things like that. She deserved to feel as bad as she did because it is karma- she did something bad, so it came back to haunt her like it did.
I think she felt even horrible now that they know that she knows all of their secrets because she has been spying on them so is not mad at them, but at herself. She knew she deserved it and knew that it was fair for them to spy on her like she did.
I think that when the crew started spying on her, Charlotte was surprised that they suspected that a 13 year old girl, their friend. I think it is only fair because she was spying on them.
I think she feels really bad for spying on them because she knows alot of things on the ship some don't because of her snooping abilities, and they probably saw that coming. So to get her back, they decided to spy on her which I think is very fair. She knew that she was going to get this "punishment" in some way.
I think it wasn't fair that the crew spied on Charlotte for payback because she was only following out Captain Jag's orders and doing what she thought was right. She didn't mean for anything to end in tragedy.
I agree with Adina, because it was karma, she spies on them they spy on her, but like Sara said she already did know most of the rules to the ship but she still spied on them. So I think that it is completely fair they they spied back on her, I mean Charlotte had to see it coming.
I think that she felt that there was no way to go and get privacy if they are always spying on her so how can she do nothing. I feel that turnabout is fair because what goes around comes around.
I think she felt bad enough with out them spying on her because she knew nobody on the ship and she was not exactly spying on them at the time at first she just went in their to get a needle. I dont think it was fair for them to spy on her because it was not her intension to spy on them in the first place but her fear made her go to captain Jaggery.

ReplyDeleteRyan, why do you believe the captain made Charlotte spy on all the jacks?
