Question #6

What do you believe will happen as a result of the death of Mr. Hollybrass?  What do you think should happen?

  1. I believe that Charlotte will be acused of the murder of Mr. Hollybrass because her dirk, the one that Zachariah gave her, was the one found in his back. I believe that there should be a fair trial once the ship arrives to it's destination because no one is guilty until proven innocent. I believe that a friend (Captain Jaggery) is a backstabber and stabbed the first mate in the back. I would LOVE to see the person on the ship I do not trust be accused of murder! I would neve have to deal with him again! ;)

  2. I think that the death of Mr.Hollybrass will cause many problems for Charlotte because the captain will accuse her of the death. I think it was the captain because before they were enemies, Charlotte told Captain Jaggery where she puts her dirk. that was right when she gave it to him but he refused to take it and said to keep it under her mattress. Captain Jaggery might've used that as a privledge and accused Charlotte on purpose!

  3. I think that Captain Jag should be charged with the murder of Mr. Hollybrass because they were seen fighting in two different areas before and during the storm. He probably didn't want him to be right. So he blamed Charlotte because it was her blade, but he knew where she was keeping it.

  4. Considering that Charlotte is the only passenger, and the only girl she is an easy target to get blamed. But what I think should happen Captain Jaggery should be put in prison and since he is a murder he should probably receive death penalty. And mabe he has murdered multiple people considering that all his former crew members are terrified of
him. Captain Jaggery blames Charlotte because he uses
the same blade because he knows where she was
    keeping it.

  5. I don't think that Charlotte should be accused of murder since she had left in her old cabin after joining the crew and the her dirk was in Mr.Hollybrasse's back that Captain Jaggery accuse her of the murder while Hollybrass was holding her handkerchief in his hand and that made Jaggery think that she killed him and sent her to the prison and her trial will start at first bell and she had also saw Zachariah alive and he was since the crew knew he was there while he was there and they were giving him food and then that made her think that Zachariah had killed Mr.Hollybrass but she asked Zachariah if one of his mates killed him and Zachariah said thats true and they might have a good reason but once they discover who killed him they can decide who did and will be accused of murder.

  6. I think that she will definately be accused of the murder. The knife found in his back was the one given to Charlotte and she was taught how to throw a knife and Captain Jaggery, I think, will accuse her and say that he was her only friend on the ship and then she became part of the crew after the fight happened but still wanted to be friends with him and that she wanted to be friends with him again so bad that she killed the first mate so she could replace him.

  7. I full on agree with Maria, because if they do not find a trial to be held against Charlotte the Captain will be the judge and the jury, and if that happens we all know she will be held guilty. Also to add on, when Mr. Hollybrass died it was Charlotte's knife that Zachariah gave her, so that also make is worse for Charlotte's case. So I do think that Charlotte will be held guilty, because of all the clues and evidence that Captain Jaggery with bring up during the trial if they have one.
